Our Story

Welcome! I'm Joyce — the hands, heart, and sometimes very tired arms behind Graceful Soaps. I’m a homeschool mom of four littles here in Halifax, and when I’m not teaching math or breaking up sibling squabbles, you’ll usually find me in my soap studio surrounded by colors, scents, and swirls.

Graceful Soaps started in 2022 with a simple desire: to create something beautiful, useful, and full of intention. From hand-piped soap flowers (done in the narrowest window of perfect texture!) to layered designs inspired by Nova Scotia’s coastline, every bar is made in small batches, cut by hand, and crafted with care.
